Paul Bussell is an experienced advertising photographer with many awards for his work in Still Life, Cars and Animals.
During his career he has gained a considerable reputation for his lighting and problem solving ablities, his eye for detail, his wide knowledge of technical and production logistics and the professional attitude and standards he applies to all aspects of his work.
Although a lover of film photography whose style is often refered to as Classic, after years of experimentation with new generations of digital technology Paul now also shoots digital capture when it is appropriate. This has proved to be immensely popular with clients.
Although his experience and attitude towards providing the highest level of perfection in the shooting process has negated the need for retouching much of his former work, Paul is also accomplished with digital retouching and manipulation if this is required.
Paul is predominantly a studio photographer but also enjoys location shoots and natural light which shows in some of his personal work.
His passion for cars and animals are evident in the small selection of work shown on this site. Advertising campaigns cover a wide range of vehicles from F1 cars to combine harvesters, articulated lorries to bikes and a wide spectrum of creatures from a scorpion to an elephant, a porcupine to a black panther, for large corporations as well as endless domestic animals for pet food companies.
